Speak Out

Since its foundation in 2005, Speak Out has helped many young learners and adults achieve confidence in speaking, reading and writing in a foreign language.

We attribute the success of our company to the methodology applied. Speak Out teachers have rigorous guidelines they must follow in order to excel in effective teaching practices. The recipe of teaching practices is extensive and demanding, here is a sample of guidelines expected: teachers must be ‘student-centred’ rather than “self-centred” or ‘material centred’. Another reason for Speak Out’s success is its application of the Common European Framework at the basis of its lesson planning. This allows teachers to effectively target the areas where help is most needed and structure courses to learners’ specific needs.

The main aim of adopting the Common European Framework is to provide a method of assessing and teaching which applies to the whole of Europe.
